The wave
The inspiration for this work is water. The form of a sea wave and it's transparency, the continuous movement and dynamics, the power of water's energy and its destructivity.
The sculpture represents a wave and it's made from paper clay. With this technique I have acchived a subtile shape, the balls illustrate water drops and the holes the transparency of water. At the same time paper clay gives a strong structure to the sculpure.
